Our wish was to put a Slavic soul into, as of yet, a predominantly western music style, to turn to our roots and themes familiar to Slavic nations, and all that by speaking in a language of the music of Slavic east, from the ancient sounds of bagpipes and gadulka, to the majestic orchestras of Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky. Historical and personal, ancient and modern, figures and stories of Slavic world come to life through the choral, orchestral and metal sound of Svarun.
We are entering the final stages of the production of our first album titled Slavija, which is due to be published in summer 2010. by the Nymphaea Records based in Moscow, Russian Federation. Album will feature total of 13 tracks, eleven in Serbian, and two versions in Russian.
