Diane di Stasio

An expression of her true self, Vox Eterna (Eternal Voice), the captivating ShadowLand and Universal Music release from artist Diane di Stasio, unveils a vocal triumph.

The eleven tracks that comprise her debut album, including the original sound track “Shadows,” showcase a passionately creative artist whose sound demonstrates an intoxicating and original talent. Commonly referred to having the “voice of an angel,” di Stasio boasts one of the most powerful and distinctive voices in a unique sound characterized by ethereal reverberations that seamlessly fuse musical genres.

Raised in the California Bay Area, di Stasio has made Nashville, Tennessee her home for the past nine years. From her early career at the New England Conservatory in Boston, she quickly developed into an accomplished vocalist. Leaving Boston, she traveled to Torino, Italy, training with artists from the New York Metropolitan Opera. With a love of both Old World and contemporary styles, di Stasio quickly developed her own sound.

Di Stasio appeared on the musical landscape with a string of concert and stage appearances that included performances in: Torino, Italy; Paris, France; Geneva Switzerland; the San Francisco Opera; the Los Angeles Music Center and the Las Vegas MGM Grand.

Her sensational talent has led her to:
A solo performance at the 2001 Presidential Inaugural Eve Gala
Recognition from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for her vocal contribution to the track for the 2008 Emmy Award-Winning CBS Guiding Light Series
A Pepsi commercial appearance with Ray Charles
In 2009 she joined British Idol sensation Paul Potts’s on his 2009 North American Tour

In the spring of 2009 di Stasio completed her debut album, Vox Eterna, a fusing of pop, rock and classical diversity that reveals the heart, soul and emotions of an artist who has embraced personal and professional liberation. To bring her album to life di Stasio was involved every step of the way, bringing together a creative production and songwriting team that included: Grammy-nominated producer Billy Smiley; Grammy-nominated arranger Don Hart who has collaborated with Martina McBride, Sara Evans and Randy Travis to name a few; and two-time Grammy Nominee, Carmen Rizzo who has worked with artists such as Alanis Morrissette.

The result is a collection of expressive original tracks and stylistic recreations of classics such as Nights In White Satin and Fields of Gold that decisively put di Stasio in a league all her own.
